An Erasmus + project of strategic partnership with other 5 nations is the one in which the Virgilio Institute of the Municipality of Eboli will take part. Portugal, Greece, Spain, Bulgaria, Romania will be the nations that over the next two years will mix culture, traditions and disciplines with Italian ones, with the absolute protagonists of the students.
The Sport to Educate, to Integrate, to Become Citizens of the World project idea will be based on sports, given that sport is one of the main vehicles of cohesion and growth, especially among young people. The project, in these days saw the guests of the school the teachers of the European institutes alacoala Gimnazială ,, Ştefan cel Mare ”Bistriţa of Romania🇷🇴, Agrupamento de Escolas do Cerco do Porto de Portugal🇵🇹, ies al-basit from Spain🇪🇸 , Sredno uchilishte Hristo Botev from Bulgaria🇧🇬 and the 3rd primary school Grevena from Greece🇬🇷, to discuss and coordinate all activities.
The path taken will last two years and each nation will choose a sport to try (Football, Mini Basket, Tennis and Olympic Games). An opportunity for human and social growth for the many youngsters as Tonia Policastro, the project's creator, Massimo Cariello, mayor of the city of Eboli and the manager Gabriella Ugatti who will have the honor of closing the event with her school in May 2021.
